About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical control and instrumentation systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical control and instrumentation systems for our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess electrical control and instrumentation systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, installation manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying knowledge to improve existing systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electrical control and instrumentation engineering, with a strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent technical skills, with the ability to design, develop, and implement complex electrical control and instrumentation systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide junior engineers and technicians.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
