P+S Personnel is excited to announce an opportunity for a Marketing Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team.

This multifaceted role encompasses a variety of marketing functions, including administrative support during periods of absence, for a company engaged in diverse sectors such as Energy, Construction, and Environmental Services.


Key Marketing Duties:

Conducting email campaigns via Mailchimp, managing personal communications, making phone inquiries, and participating in in-person meetings, along with occasional attendance at trade exhibitions – typically 3-5 annually, primarily involving day trips.

Additionally, the role involves overseeing indirect marketing channels, such as Trade Directories, which necessitate regular monitoring and updates, as well as maintaining various contact lists, including press and trade fair directories, whether in spreadsheet format or within a database.

A considerable portion of the responsibilities will involve routine activities such as identifying and researching missing customer job titles for database enhancement, generating weekly reports, updating spreadsheets, and organizing files.

Regularly posting news updates and collaborating with our web editor and designer for website enhancements.


Website Management:

Updating news sections and following up on quotes via phone calls.


Marketing Material Development:

Creating and producing marketing collateral, including business cards, brochures, and flyers.

Selected responsibilities will also include providing administrative support during staff absences:

- Systematically updating physical binders with hard copies.

- Maintaining contact lists and database accuracy.

- Documenting comments and follow-up dates, and managing a pending tasks list.

The ideal candidate will possess a confident and approachable phone demeanor, with experience in customer interactions both in-person and over the phone.

A positive, adaptable attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential.

Given the varied schedules of the marketing team, effective communication via phone and email is crucial, as opportunities for in-person discussions may be limited.

Be prepared for some repetitive tasks, as the database and website are currently undergoing extensive clean-up efforts.

Strong command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation, is required, along with the ability to produce clear, concise content and summarized reports.

Proficiency in MS Word, MS Outlook, and the ability to format MS Excel spreadsheets, as well as familiarity with file transfer applications, is expected.

Experience with Mailchimp, Access, InDesign, and WordPress would be beneficial.
