Technical SEO Specialist Job Description

We're Netbiz Group, a digital agency based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, and we're looking for a skilled Technical SEO Specialist to join our growing SEO team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough SEO performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance website performance and search engine visibility.
  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for day-to-day issues.
  • Optimize website core web vital scores by streamlining code, implementing next-gen image formats, and other applicable methods.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, including algorithm updates and SEO best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background and experience with WordPress and open-source platforms.
  • Proficiency in using tools like SEMrush, AHrefs, Screaming Frog, and Analytics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt tone of voice to suit different brands.
  • Previous experience as a Junior developer or in a similar role.
