Position Overview:Your role as Contracts Asset Manager will be to improve contract financial performance of specific customer support agreements by coordinating and planning events and interventions with the service operations, emphasising availability, and productivity to improve customer satisfaction.

Major Job Functions

  • Manages overall contract performance and master scheduler for all planned events.
  • Regularly visits customer locations to perform on-site surveys to monitor conditions that may positively or negatively impact contract performance.
  • Liaises with service operations to execute all planned events including type of repair required and location.
  • Drive consistent execution of planned events for equipment on contract implementation of the RBF strategy.
  • Work with product support operations to develop product health and performance feedback and develop customer relationships to lower operating costs through improved operational and maintenance best practices.

Specific Skills

  • Good project management and planning/organisation skills        
  • Excellent influencing and networking skills    
  • Excellent IT skills including intermediate Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills      
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and information to support planning and decisions    
  • Ability to coach individuals and to promote understanding of system, applications, processes and policies

Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of equipment systems and components          
  • Financially/commercially aware 
  • Good knowledge of Systems and applications e.g. DBSi, Builder, Calculator, SIS, Scheduler (desirable)

Accountability

  • Delivers monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and facilitates customer meetings.
  • Develop and collate reports for the specific use of optimising component life and identify short-life units.
  • Utilises Conditioned Based Monitoring to optimise component life whilst lowering customer owning and operating costs.
  • Accountable for Customer loyalty (measured via transactional CSA survey).
  • 95% of planned events on time and on budget.
  • R&M variance +/- 5% of original forecast.
  • 90% of all planned events performed using standard job.
  • 95% accuracy on monthly expenditure and revenue.

Education and Experience

  • Relevant experience and certificate in engineering            
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a similar industry environment (desirable)  
  • Approved engineering apprenticeship (desirable)
