More about your role 

As Contract Lead you will be responsible and accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of the group's legislative compliance works.

The Contract Lead (Specialist) – Aids and Adaptations is responsible for ensuring the contractor management and delivery of a high-quality Aids and Adaptations service for our customers, in accordance with the contracts and Group requirements.

You will hold responsibility for the day-to-day organisation, scheduling, supervision and responsibility for the safety, technical standard and quality of the works and associated activities carried out in these areas. The operational delivery of Group policies and procedures to ensure compliance, including the identification, management and mitigation of risk, and production of risk assessments, safe working practice and procedures.

More About you 

  • Good experience in the delivery of a customer driven service and in ensuring continuous improvement
  • Significant experience in arranging and supervising works to domestic and commercial properties
  • Good experience of supervising a team and/or contractors to ensure service delivery, managing change and developing people
  • Able to prioritise to achieve realistic targets, costs and time deadlines
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent and/or professionally qualified in a related discipline and/or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience. Must hold or be willing to work towards qualifications along with demonstrable knowledge and experience of mechanical processes, water management and fire safety measures and associated works to ensure full compliance with Regulations, British Standards, ACOPs and guidance
  • HNC level or equivalent
  • Professional Qualification in related discipline
