All students are supported to learn at their own level through personalised teaching and differentiated lessons based on the National Curriculum. As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teacher to join our close-knit team at Hillingdon Manor School in Uxbridge.About the RoleAs part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our close-knit team on our Secondary Site, teaching pupils aged 11–19. This role includes KS4 Lead responsibilities, offering an excellent opportunity for ambitious teachers aspiring to middle leadership positions.You will:Deliver engaging and personalised lessons tailored to pupils’ educational needsLead in a curriculum area, providing guidance and support to staff within KS4Work closely with support staff to ensure pupils receive the assistance they requirePromote the school’s vision, values, and culture while fostering a positive learning environmentProvide feedback to Senior Leadership, parents, and carers on pupil progressPlan and implement creative, differentiated teaching approaches to maximise achievementManage challenging behaviours positively and proactivelyWho We’re Looking ForQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) essentialPrevious experience teaching in an SEN school or extensive experience working with pupils with complex additional needsAbility to plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate pupilsAmbition to take on leadership responsibilities and support staff in KS4Patient, resilient, and able to maintain a positive learning environmentIf you are a skilled and passionate SEN teacher looking for a challenging and rewarding role with leadership opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
