  • Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing feedback to families, SEN support staff, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on each child's growth and adjust strategies as needed for optimal development

Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 1, ideally with prior exposure to special educational needs (SEN) to bring empathy, creativity, and flexibility to your teaching approach
  • Patient and creative approach to teaching young learners, understanding the need for adaptability and sensitivity in meeting the varied needs of each child
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with SEN staff, teaching assistants, and families to provide a well-rounded support system for students
  • Commitment to inclusive education, with the ability to create and adapt lesson plans that build confidence and encourage skill-building in a way that resonates with each child's unique learning style
  • Enhanced DBS check required to ensure the highest standards of safety and well-being for all students within the school environment
