If you want to work with Care First 24 are currently seeking Paediatric Complex Care Assistants who can access the Oxfordshire area on new packages of care. We are offering market leading pay rates and are looking to build a supportive care team to work with this young person.

You will be supported by our inhouse Paediatric / Children’s Clinical Lead as well as experienced Paediatric / Children’s Care Coordinator in delivering a solid care experience for the young person and families involved.

Tasks

Care package requirements could include:

  • Tracheostomy care and management
  • Ventilation via tracheostomy
  • Nocturnal BiPap and Humidification - (Non-invasive ventilator)
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care (wash, nappy change etc)
  • Suctioning (Yankeur/Deep Suctioning)
  • PEG Feeding
  • Diabetes blood monitoring
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Catheterisation
  • Care and Use of Dual port - Gastro-Jej
Requirements

Schedule:

10 hour shift

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

Paediatrics: 1 year (required)
