Job Summary

Thornbury Community Services is seeking a qualified Paediatric Complex Care Nurse to join our team on an ad hoc basis. As a Paediatric Complex Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs in their own homes, avoiding hospital admissions and ensuring they receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver bespoke care and support to young people with complex needs in their own homes
  • Work closely with families and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide Tracheostomy Care and Suctioning, Tracheostomy Tube Change, ventilation via Tracheostomy, and ventilation via a mask
  • Availability for last-minute shifts to support the needs of our clients
  • Travel to various locations to provide care and support

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months' UK experience in the last two years working with people with clinical complex needs
  • Tracheostomy Care and Suctioning, Tracheostomy Tube Change, ventilation via Tracheostomy, and ventilation via a mask skills
  • Availability for last-minute shifts
  • Willingness to travel
