**Mental Health Helpline Operator**
**Location: Derby**

**Hours: 31.5 Hours**
**Shift Pattern: Days, Nights, Weekends (rota based)**
**Driver (preferred) - this position is considered a driver to be preferred due to the flexibility you need in order to attend different shifts, as public transport may be tough during early hours or late evenings**
**Salary and Benefits**
For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid a salary of **£21,450 (£11 per hour)**, pro rata. You will also receive a very desirable employee package which includes 27 days annual leave with the choice to buy or swap extra days. **Your salary can be increased if you are on specific shifts, as Monday to Friday days pay £11 an hour, Night's and Saturday's pay £13.61 an hour, and Sunday's pay £17.66 an hour.**
**Overview of the Role**
I am looking for a full-time Mental Health Helpline Operator to support a fabulous service in Derby. Your task will be to handle incoming calls from people who may be suffering with aspects of their mental health. You may come across people who are having disturbingthoughts and may need additional support. You will be the first port of call and will aim to provide the best non-clinical advice possible. Should the advice you give not be enough, you will refer them to NHS staff who are also in the office, for them to giveclinical advice and take it from there.
**Key Responsibilities**
On the phone taking inbound calls regarding to mental health support
Being flexible for various shifts
Expected to take part in team meetings
**Interview Process**
**1st Stage - Shortlisting**
In the first stage I personally will review your CV. Should you be successful, I will invite you for a Microsoft teams meeting.
**2nd Stage - Pre-Screening**
In this stage, we will have a team's meeting to discuss your right to work, work history, and suitability for the role.
**3rd Stage - Formal Interview**
In this stage, you will go have a formal interview with the hiring manager.
