Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Administrator to join our team.

Working on the community mental health transformation programme this role is highly valued and is pivotal to the functioning of our busy team. This is a fast-paced, changing environment with the opportunity to showcase your relevant skills. This is predominantly an office-based role with the opportunity to work from home on occasion.

This position is starting off initially as a fixed term 12 month contact but there is scope for the position to be potentially reviewed and become a substantive post.

Working 18.5 hours per week you will be an experienced administrator used to working independently and collaboratively using initiative and possessing an eye for detail. You will utilise excellent communication skills along with an ability to confidently work on assisting managers with voluntary, community and social enterprise sector coordination tasks. You will provide support to operational managers in their part of the recruitment process, as well as a range of other administration tasks alongside the program team. You will work closely with the program leads and work supportively across the team and with other administrative colleagues.

We’re an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people’s physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.

Over 4,000 people make up the Trust. This includes doctors, nurses, therapists, plus admin and support staff.

Approximately 568,000 people live here. A third of people who live in Cornwall are supported by acute hospital services in Devon. As a result, we also work closely with our partners in Devon. In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increases the numbers of people who use our services.
