**Position**:
**JOB MISSION**
- The mission of the Head of Wines is to lead and execute the Wines strategy across Estates and Wines, Chateau D’Esclans and any new wine addition to the portfolio.
- Drive the distribution of our wines portfolio by working closely with our Sales Teams to expand our distribution listing and drive further desirability.
- Amplify the brand execution across the markets of our wine portfolio, through leading and driving the brand planning
- Acting in a key leadership role, working across the business, building key relationships with various stakeholders.

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**

**Brand Strategy**
- Lead the brand planning process across the still wines portfolio
- Manage an A&P budget for the still wine’s brands, that will enable delivery on trade engagement and brand desirability
- Nurture and develop the relationships with key gatekeepers within the wine trade
- Amplify the brands through a focus on ‘lifestyle’ public relations and engaging influencers
- Deliver a digital marketing strategy focused on promoting brand events and activations further

**Commercial Strategy**
- Smart stretching commercial targets for the sales teams to deliver distribution into the right channels
- Deliver annual budgeted volumes and MOP targets by brand
- Evaluate and optimize commercial investments through challenging the sales team to deliver value growth over volume

**Wines portfolio integration**
- Ensure the smooth integration of any new Wine brands into our current wine’s portfolio
- Lead and execute the distribution, pricing, and allocation strategy of the portfolio
- Act as a brand ambassador for those brands in the UK when interacting with trade accounts and our customers
- Be the main point of contact between Moët Hennessy UK and Wines Maisons.

**Leadership**

Lead, inspire and coach Moët Hennessy UK’s wines team to ensure constant engagement
- Manage direct reports, ensuring objectives are set in a timely matter and regular reviews are held
- Co-ordinate trainings with the sales team to ensure wine knowledge is to a high standard
- Be the external leader for Moët Hennessy UK to customers, gate keepers and influencers on still wine

**Profile**:
**Professional experience & know how**:

- Wine certification (WSET 3) and/or Sommelier background
- Entrepreneurial & risk-taking mindset, acting like a brand owner, with agility and flexibility
- Excellent commercial and/or marketing track record, with sales development / brand building experience in the wine industry
- Ability to establish strong relationship with key stakeholders and partners. An existing ‘wine industry” network within the market is a plus
- Clear and adaptable communicator, at all levels of customer, influencer, or internal stakeholders
- Exceptional wine knowledge and passion for the industry
- Proven ability in motivating others and acting as a team player, internally (non-hierarchical relationships) and externally (trade owners/staff, influencers, partners)
- A demonstratable growth mindset which sees and seizes opportunities for the wine brands, able to adapt to the ever-changing environment
- Results driven, with strong commercial orientation and a deep understanding of the sales and marketing relationship
