Insurance Reconciliation Team Leader

**Purpose of the Role**
This exciting hybrid opportunity has arisen to join a growing Finance team in Leeds, where you will lead and manage the Insurer Reconciliation process in accordance with FCA regulations, Insurer requirements, Member requirements and Broker Network procedures.
**What you will do**
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
- Ensure all Insurer accounts are reconciled in a timely and efficient way in accordance with:
FCA guidelines
Member requirements
Insurer requirements.
- Define SLA’s with members and insurers and ensure they are met.
- Develop and maintain successful professional relationships with members and insurers to improve and enhance the service we provide.
- Work with members and insurers to rectify incorrect processes or procedures.
- Support the Client Money Operations manager in the identification and measurement of CASS breaches.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve their objectives.
- To continually review and improve the processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service we provide.
- To work with the Client Money team leader with the on boarding of brokers who wish to take up the Insurer reconciliation service offering.
- Develop, measure and report on the key performance indicators.
- To ensure process is compliant with all legal regulation e.g. data protection, information security etc.
- To provide support and cover for the Client Money Operations manager as and when required.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Reconciliation/Finance/Banking background
- Leadership experience essential - this could be on a project or as a senior member of a team, not necessarily team leadership.
- Experience in a regulated environment which is highly pressurised and very transactional
- Strong MS Office skills.
Most crucially for any applicant is your communication skills across all mediums, use analytical and investigative skills to solve problems and respond positively to change. You will need to have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail whilst being adaptable to changing environments and priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
