This position has arisen due to a promotion, demonstrating the company's commitment to career progression and growth.

You will provide leadership and direction to the renewal team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will manage and monitor team and individual performance, taking action to improve, and set SMART goals, managing resources, prioritizing workflow, and reviewing key deliverables.
You will be involved in underwriting risks, attending underwriting and broker meetings, and providing insight into market conditions. The company values employee suggestions and ideas, offering opportunities for involvement in ad hoc projects.
Essential skills include strong coaching skills, people-management, and project skills, with the ability to structure task allocations around critical goals. A commercial insurance background, including Property and/or Liability Insurance, is required, with comprehensive training provided.
The company operates a hybrid-working arrangement, allowing you to work two days from home. You will be rewarded with a generous basic salary, up to £60K (negotiable), plus a 25% bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits, including pension contributions and financial bonuses for passing CII qualifications.
