**What you will be doing?**

The primary responsibility of the Sales Consultant role is to enable, drive and execute against Benefex Gateway’s high growth ambition. This will involve developing your own pipeline and following up on leads provided by the SDR’s. Once leads have been identified the Sales Consultant will plan and execute any interaction with the client including presentations, and price proposals.

**Absolute musts for the role**:

- Demonstrable record in consultative or services led environment
- Proven experience of delivering in a sales role.
- Ideally a strong background in SAAS or experience in solution sales within software and services industry
- Strong track record of building and developing client relations and sale lead generation.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple level understanding of multi-tier selling.
- Demonstrable Sales management skills from appointment to closure
- A good understanding of what it takes to maintain and develop the most productive client relationships.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to create and maintain accurate and organised documentation.
- Ability to effectively manage prospect queries, ensure promises are kept and manage expectations.
- Ability to problem solve; identify issues and use initiative and available resources to generate recommendations.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team, being pro-active and motivated in all aspect of sales and management.

- Sales experience within the rewards and benefits marketplace
- Experience within employee benefits and reward market would be preferable or selling into HR marketplace.
