Plysolene has been extruding thermoplastic sheet for over 40 years, supplying bespoke sheet to a wide range of industries including point of sale display, packaging, construction & insulation.

Our continued success is built on the back of excellent customer understanding and flexible manufacturing.

We have an excellent position available for a Purchasing and Admin Assistant to join our growing business in Partridge Green. Please note: Due to the rural location, own transport will be required.

To work with internal and external contacts to ensure timely and accurate purchasing of all items within the purchasing team to meet customer requirements, monitor the supply process and respond to issues arising, reacting to queries and urgent requirements quickly and efficiently. To work with internal and external contacts to ensure timely and accurate shipment of finished goods to customers.

Purchasing and haulage experience would be an advantage but not a prerequisite, training will be provided.

**What you will be doing**:

- Raising purchase orders
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure items arrive in good time for manufacture
- Setting up stock codes and updating prices
- To monitor closely and respond promptly to stock replenishment
- Arranging and managing the shipment of finished goods to customers
- Ability to effectively procure materials through an MRP system or spreadsheets
- Demonstrate ability to create and sustain good working relationships with colleagues and suppliers
- Ability to work effectively with detail
- Customer focus
- Ability to convey information effectively both in writing and orally
- Ability to prioritise workload
- GCSE Maths & English
- Computer literate with good grasp of Microsoft Office & Outlook packages
- Attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a busy office and factory environment
