Job Title: Programme Support - SEN Primary Practitioner
Responsible to: Director of Operations

Key Tasks

1. Utilising land and animal-based resources to deliver sessions against pre-identified education
- based or therapeutic-based objectives, for small groups of children with Special Educational
Needs (SEN) or Social Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD)

2. To work as a team, planning activities relevant to identified outcomes for, reflecting the ethos of People & Animals UK C.I.C. being therapeutic, accessible, relevant and stimulating for each individual.

3. To maintain session notes and monitoring reports relating to sessions delivered, liaising with relevant health, education and social care professionals to best support the development of care and education plans where appropriate.

4. To support children’s progression from therapeutic intervention to educational support, working with the team to support ASDAN vocational learning certification and portfolio building to support termly reports and evaluation of progress.

5. To gain feedback at an accessible level from children and families who engage with Alternative

Education Provision, to support continual shaping of services reflect community need.

6. Any other tasks as agreed with your line manager to support the running of People & Animals
UK C.I.C. and the needs of those around us.

3. Planning & Organisation of Work
- Ensure sessions are prepared, with relevant resources at the required times.
- Ability to manage own time effectively across responsibilities allocated.
- Prioritising own workload to meet pre-agreed deadlines, such as termly reporting.

4. Communication
- Write succinct session notes and termly progress reports, to support termly reviews.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with a wide range of the community.
- To build on the feedback that you receive from your team for continued development.
- To safeguard all that we support whilst maintaining safe, appropriate and relevant communication.

5. Flexibility & Creativity
- Working from the needs of those engaged in sessions, embracing their motivations whilst meeting set objectives to support positive outcomes.

Other Requirements

1. Whilst employed by People & Animals UK C.I.C. you will be required to hold a full clean and current UK driving licence.

2. You will be required to undertake Enhanced DBS Check, regular training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Health & Safety. The successful applicant may be required to undertake other job specific training during the course of their employment.

3. You will be required to attend group supervision, to ensure appropriate reflection and development of the services offered by the People & Animals UK CIC team.

4. The successful applicant will be required to comply fully with all People & Animals UK C.I.C. policies and procedures, provided upon induction and reviewed regularly.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: Up to £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
