**Fitness & Leisure Assistant**

**Purpose of the Role**

To support all of us here at Langdale in delivering exceptional guest service. The service you deliver will result in whether a guest returns to Langdale.

We strive by the acronym GUEST. Giving Unexpected Exceptional Services Today. To fulfil the purpose of this role, the successful individual will take great pride in their work. They will hold a flair for presentation and be passionate about creating that memory when you come into a room.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Pool attendant / Lifeguard, gym instructor and first aid qualifications would be desirable but not essential.

Done these things before? Great If not but you like the sound of it, no problem. We have a thorough training programme and if you have the right attitude, a desire to learn and a genuine smile, we can teach you the rest.

**A few ‘need to knows’**
- No previous experience needed, full training will be provided.
- This role is live out only at the rate of £11.25 per hour.
- Interview could be virtual or on site.
- All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Set in the heart of the English Lake District and surrounded by breath-taking scenery the Langdale Estate offers a choice of luxury hotel, self-catering and timeshare accommodation, spa experiences and therapies, restaurant, and bar. Our Fitness & Leisure team provide a warm welcome for all swimmers and gym-mers, making sure everyone has a safe and fun time.

**Role Requirements**
- Performs cleaning duties in all gym, pool and public areas.
- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Ensures Leisure Club departmental standards are followed.
- Routinely carries out pool water testing.
- Follows departmental policies, all safety and sanitation policies
- Performing fitness programming / screening and gym inductions.
- You will engage with all members and guests to identify opportunities to make their experience memorable through experiences and offerings available on and off site.
- Performs additional duties as needed.
