**Role and responsibilities**

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Linnaeus Group, for an Internship Lead to work with the Veterinary Education Manager, Residency Lead and broader Clinical Education Team.

We are looking for a Veterinary Specialist (EBVS/American/RCVS) who is passionate about developing internship training, challenging the status quo to bring about further development of our internship programmes and create industry leading opportunities that focus on wellbeing and professional skills development as well as excellence and innovation in clinical training.

**Main purpose & goals**
- Build good working relationships with Programme Directors, Interns and Mentors as well as Associates working in other Linnaeus teams including the wider hospital and Medical and Nursing teams, Operations, Marketing and external key stakeholders to enable collaborative working and a unified approach to the delivery of outstanding training programmes
- Work with the Veterinary Education Manager and Linnaeus Residency Lead to deliver the strategic growth and development of industry leading internship training programmes within the Linnaeus Group
- To work with Internship Directors to share best practice and co-ordinate the development of Linnaeus internship programmes and resources, including development of associated postgraduate qualifications where appropriate
- Create innovative programmes of professional development training and wellbeing support and develop and facilitate mentoring and mental health initiatives and training within Linnaeus
- Play an active role in the Mars Veterinary Health Internship Council to promote global development of Specialist training in MVH hospitals
