Anders Recruitment is working with a very exciting growing company in Kent that keep expanding and growing the business. They are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant.
They are an ambitious, growing business and taken re-investment in March 2021 which will underpin the next stage of development for the Group.
The business operates from four key sortation hubs in Warrington, Bristol, Luton and Kent. We have +500 active customers at any point, trading across three operating businesses (3 ledgers - currently managed autonomously in Warrington, Bristol and Kent) andour billers will raise upward of 2,500 monthly invoices.
They are currently supporting the teams with hybrid working, a mix of office based and home working, and they see this continuing in the immediate future. Some travel will be required due to geographical split of the hubs and leadership team.
The Role
A leader in their field, the business is growing and keen to support that growth with a dynamic forward-looking team. Reporting to the Management Accountant, this role will play an important role in maintaining adequate financial control and reporting accuratenumbers which are crucial for making day to day business decisions
What will the role involve?
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and relevant reporting
- Support the processing functions - Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Weekly Cashflow reporting
- Ad-Hoc reporting
- Weekly P&L
- Pre-Payments
- Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly and year end audits
Strong accounting skills and at least 2 years relevant experience
Strong excel skills and attention to detail
Be ambitious with a 'can do' attitude
