Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for an Enhanced Housing Officer on a permanent basis to be based from our office in Houghton Regis with a requirement to work from scheme in Hertfordshire.

**A bit about the role**:
As a Enhanced Housing Officer, you will provide an enabling enhanced housing management service to a designated group of tenants to maximise their independence and ensure the sustainment of their tenancies, whilst responding flexibly to the varying needs of a mental health client group. Some of the key results for the role include:
Enable Tenants/Licensees to maximise their independence and ensure the sustainment of their tenancies.

Ensure that Tenants/Licensees understand the responsibilities of their tenancy/licence and support them to sustain this.

Report any Safeguarding concerns internally and externally.

Liaise with Housing and Income Officers to assist with rent, service charge collection and arrears recovery, including liaising with Housing Benefit Officers.

Demonstrate your commitment to equality and diversity and have a genuine desire to help people with support needs connect with their community.

Externally represent and promote Peabody by being professional and positive.
- This role will require an Enhanced DBS check, a UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle. _
