**Social Work Lead Practitioner Social Care Front Door**

**This is a hybrid role a mixture of in office and home working although full time office working is available.**

**Role Overview**

Social Care Direct is a “front door” to Adult Social Services and the first point of contact for all initial enquiries about social care.

As a Lead Practitioner in the team you will be:

- Providing sound direction and guidance to the team, ensuring professional standards and Best Practice act as key drivers within a culture of continuous service improvement, value for money and safer practice.
- Ensuring compliance with the service’s standards and processes and operate within the context of the service priorities and principles of increasing user choice and control over the services they receive.
- Providing sound, clear and responsive practice leadership and supervision, and promote the highest professional standards in social care
- Induct and performance manage your supervisees who will be either qualified or unqualified Social Workers and will be at different stages in their career.
- Working closely and collaboratively with other teams to deliver an integrated, service that meets both current and future needs.

This 36-hour weekly role permits a combination of office and remote work. Office-based work is also an option, with free parking available at our Colindale office.
