An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Integrated Medicine & Flow (IMPF) Division as we look to recruit a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner within AMU.

The Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner is an experienced multi-professional health and care role. The level of practice is characterised by a high degree of autonomy and complex decision making. This will develop the freedom to act and make critical judgements to satisfy the expectations and demands of the Advanced Practitioner role.
This role encompasses the four pillars of practice in line with the Multi-Professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice in England. The pillars of clinical practice, leadership and management, evaluation and research, with demonstration of core capabilities and area specific clinical competencies.

Within this role you will provide holistic care for patients, making clinical diagnosis and decisions based on clinical examination skills, evidence-based practice and trust protocols. To develop and maintain supportive working relationships with medical, nursing and allied health professionals/colleagues. This includes engagement with multi-professional clinical teams in order to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Upon completion of a Masters Degree in Advanced Practice, the role will develop as a qualified Multi-Professional
- Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

- Practise in compliance with respective code of professional conduct and within their scope of practice, being responsible and accountable for decisions, actions and omissions at this level of practice.
- Act as a role model, educator, supervisor, coach and mentor, seeking to instil and develop the confidence of others.
- Manage, care and deliver care for a caseload of patients.
- Work in partnership with individuals, families and carers, using a range of assessment methods as appropriate history-taking; holistic assessment; identifying risk factors; mental health assessments; requesting, undertaking and/or interpreting diagnostic

tests; and conducting health needs assessments.
- Evaluate own practice, and participate in multi-disciplinary service and team evaluation, demonstrating the impact of advanced clinical practice on service function and effectiveness, and quality
