The Apprenticeship Programme is delivered from the state-of-the-art Academy in Coventry on behalf of the Stellantis UK network of Retailers. The core responsibility of the programme is to deliver high quality training to enable Apprentices to achieve their career aspirations alongside appropriate brand accreditation, professional skills, behaviours and competencies.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and review safeguarding policies and procedures
- Ensure OFSTED guidelines are followed
- Provide training and awareness sessions to staff and apprentices
- Act as the main point of contact for safeguarding concerns and reports
- Conduct thorough investigations into safeguarding incidents, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity
- Collaborate with external agencies and authorities as necessary
- Monitor and assess the overall welfare of individuals involved in our programs
- Maintain accurate records of safeguarding incidents and interventions
- Be the main point of contact for apprentices, this may involve out of hours calls

**Key Requirements**
- Proven experience in a safeguarding role, preferably within an educational environment
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in safeguarding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good skills in Microsoft Products
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Certification in safeguarding or related field
- Experience in delivering safeguarding training
- Dealing with delegates with learning needs
- Relevant Health & Safety Qualification (desirable)
- First Aid at Work Qualification (desirable)

This is a full-time, permanent position based at the Stellantis Performance Academy in Coventry.
