MBDA UK's HR Team are looking for a HR Administrator to join and support the Client Facing HR teams of the Operations and Engineering directorates, to provide effective and efficient administration, undertake specific HR projects and provide diary management to the relevant HR Leads and HR teams. This will be a varied role with the ability to help influence improvements in the way we administrate within HR.

We are looking for someone proactive with advanced system skills (particularly Microsoft Excel), who is able to help improve our current administration processes as well as developing more efficient ways of working.

**The main role activities will be**:

- Being the contact for the Engineering and Operations Directorates in the absence of the HR Advisors/HRM's
- Acting as the OneHR champion (MBDA's HR System, based on Workday platform) and the main point of contact to answer queries, make changes and provide guidance on use of the tool to employees and managers
- To work with both the Engineering and Operations HR teams to help harmonize and improve certain processes in context with HR administration to create common ways of working
- Respond to standard enquiries providing advice or guidance as to where to find the required information, managing customer expectations for effective resolution
- To manage diary, meetings and travel for the Operations HRD, and occasionally the HRMs and HR teams
- To undertake specific projects on behalf under some guidance from the HRA's/HRM
- Upload, maintain and electronically file documents to DRM and the WSS (our share filing system on the behalf of Engineering and Operations HR Teams)
- Handle a range of HR problems or situations, including investigating records, files, databases, to resolve queries
- Helping the HR teams utilise HR related data so we can get a common views across the two Directorates
- Supporting the HR teams with specific HR tasks as and when required
- Prioritisation of tasks in an environment with a varying workload
- Any other duties as requested

**What we're looking for**
- A highly organised, experienced and proactive Administrator
- Somebody who is adaptable to changing workload demands
- An advanced level of expertise on Microsoft packages such as Excel and PowerPoint is essential
- Ideally some HR experience or qualification such as CIPD, although this is not essential
- Have a proactive approach, and flexibility to support team and colleagues where needed
- Experience of Workday HR System would be beneficial, but is not essential
- Strong communication skills and someone who is able to communicate with a variety of different stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and multi-task with a range of complex organisational and business activities
