An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Procurement Department for a Band 3 Assistant Buyer based at South Western Ambulance Service HQ at Exeter.

The team is currently working a hybrid model of home and office working.

The role is to provide an effective and efficient purchasing service for a variety of products and services for all sites of the Trust.

The Department recognises that every product and service it procures on behalf of the Trust will affect each patient, to this end the Department is committed to providing best value products and services.

Create orders in Oracle from electronic and paper requisitions

Receipting orders on Oracle system

Assists with purchase order queries

Supports the Procurement Team

Communicating with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Processing quotations from suppliers
