MMP Consultancy are working with a fantastic organisation based in Maidstone to recruit an Administrator to work on an interim contract.
We are seeking enthusiastic and organised professionals with exceptional customer service and administrative skills. You will be responsible for providing an excellent clerical service across various departments.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- To be the public face of the department and wider trust & be friendly and approachable at all times
- Deal with every patient courteously and respectfully
- Book patient onto the RIS system in a timely manner
- Answer patient queries or direct the enquiry to another staff member who can assist
- Demonstrate communication skills with service users and staff of all grades at all times
- To work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery efficient services
- To have extensive patient contact, both face-to-face and on the telephone
- To manage telephone enquiries appropriately
- Make complex appointments for a range of examinations in person and on the phone
- To liaise with staff from the team and other areas to ensure optimal patient care and experience and the effective operation of the department
- Occasionally, to sympathetically and tactfully deal with matters that may be of a distressing nature for patients, relatives and healthcare professionals
- To manage telephone enquiries appropriately
Skills & Experience:

- Good standard of general education including numeracy and England at GCE level or equivalent
- Evidence of 3 years administrative experience
- Experience of using databases and IT systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal skills both verbal and written
- Pleasant and personable
- Good organisation ability
