**About our Company**:We are an award-winning workplace design and build company specialising in professional commercial small works projects in and around London. We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our close-knit team working on modern and creative interior projects.

Experience in site supervision, project co-ordination or management of commercial interior projects is an advantage.

**The role**:

- To be involved in the sign off meeting with the Client, Project Director and Designer.
- To formally accept day to day responsibility for a Project at its commencement and to ensure that the Project is managed correctly and completely until such time as Practical Completion has occurred and all snagging or Markings have been completed.
- To be the ultimate point of contact for the Client for any issues arising within the Project.
- To check and maintain the Project Budgets.
- To assist with creating a full Project plan for the works, using Microsoft Project, and to have the Project plan approved by the Project Director and the Client before works commence.
- To attend the site of a Project at least once each week to assess progress and to ensure that Health & Safety policies are being followed.
- To ensure that the weekly meeting minutes are completed and distributed to the relevant parties
- To write a weekly short-form report to the relevant Project Director detailing any current risks or items of interest/note that need to be addressed by the Project Director.
- Reporting issues and site information on a daily basis
- Day to day management of work activities on site by tradesmen and contractors
- The ordering of materials for the job where required alongside the Procurement Team.
- To provide administration support to the other members of the Project teams including the Project Directors.
- To advise finance team of progress at regular intervals for budget and invoicing purposes.
- To supply a completed Health & Safety file to the Head of Projects at the end of the works for forwarding to the Client.
- To assist the Projects Team Administrator in producing an O&M manual for the Project and to forward to the Client.

In conjunction with the Site Supervisor:

- Ensure the safe, clean and orderly management of the site including the management of any site supervisor allocated to a Project
- Ensure the maintenance of the signing in book and the wearing of PPE equipment on site by Contractors.
- To produce and keep up to date all health & Safety documentation including all Contractor records for the Health & Safety file.
- To inform the Head of Projects if it becomes clear that any paperwork or Health & Safety information pertaining to the site has not been completed.
- To be responsible for the Health & Safety of a Project and to at all times ensure that current company procedures and directives with regards to Health & Safety are being carried out correctly.
- The role will a mixture of office and site based, with the majority of sites being in central London.
- Experience in the Design and Build Industry would be advantageous.
- In build/technical experience would be ideal
- Full command of the English Language
- Knowledge of Technical Drawings
- Experience in Costing/quoting works
- High level of competency in Excel
- Excellent administrative skills with a methodical approach.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- High levels of numeracy and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to manage own workload without direction.
- Articulate, well presented with a friendly personable approach when dealing with clients.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and when unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Ability to multitask

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
