**Departmental Training Co-ordinator (Logistics)**

**Salary - £31,000 per annum**

On site Birmingham Business Park

**Purpose of Job**:
BCA Logistics drive and focus on personal development has resulted in the requirement for an internal trainer. This role needs to equip staff with the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out their work activities effectively.

You will be required to be strategic but flexible enough to react to business demand. Assessing the skills and knowledge within the organization and determining what training is required to grow and retain these skills. You will deliver the training yourself or identify support from a specific area to assist

To be a successful applicant you will ideally have BCA Logistics process knowledge or experience aligned to this. You need to be passionate about improving performance and enabling people. You do not need to have specific training experience, as support will be given; however, you do need to be confident in leading and presenting to a group of people.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual. Amending and revising as necessary, in order to adapt to changes.
- Develop effective induction programmes for new staff
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
- Devise individual learning plans
- Produce training materials for in-house courses
- Help line managers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
- Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses
