**Post Title**:Profile Burner Operator
**Job Purpose**: Operation of Messer MultiTherm Cutting Machine within Profile Department to produce parts in accordance with and to the satisfaction of the company/Industry requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.
**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- Loading and unloading metal plates with aid of forklift or overhead crane
- Selection of pre-proven program for parts scheduled to be produced.
- Setting machine for correct thickness ensuring accuracy of cut profile.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Understanding different material grades and thicknesses.
- Run first off part from program and carry out first off inspection.
- Carrying out pre-start checks to maintain machine.
- Logging work completed through manufacturing system.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.
**KPI’s**
- Meeting and satisfying Company quality requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.
- Meeting and satisfying Company HSE requirements, standards, procedures, timescales and expectations.
**Health and Safety responsibilities**
- Co-operate with Company in compliance with HSE legislation.
- Comply with Company HSE policy and procedures at all times
- Lead by example and promote Company HSE policy and procedures.
**About you**
- Skilled/Semi-skilled operator with Messer Cutting equipment experience or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of material grades.
- Reliable with good time keeping and attendance.
- Willing to work overtime as and when required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £12.10-£16.49 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus scheme

- Prestwick KA9 2SB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
