**Fixed Term-Contract - Temporary - 2 years.**

**Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week.**

An opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team of System Administrators and HPC specialists. With excellent Linux system administration skills and experience, your focus will be supporting the diverse set of systems and architectures at our state-of-the-art 38MW supercomputing data centre, hosting some of the most novel systems in the world.

A priority focus will be to support world class research by undertaking system administration and development.

The role will be based at the Advanced Computing Facility in Midlothian and at the Bayes Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and dynamic organisation that is at the forefront of technology innovation.

This post is full time (35 hours per week)

- An enthusiasm and interest to learn about large-scale Linux system administration including high-performance computing and technologies like Kubernetes.
- Ability to problem solve and dig into technically engaging challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
