**The responsibilities of the role include**:

- Learn to roster staff to ensure that the care service is delivered to Service Users at the times and for the duration specified in the relevant individual agreement(s) and contract standards.
- To learn to manage the weekly rota to ensure that the rostering is accurate and efficient.
- To learn the record of absences and other breaks on Webroster.
- To gain an understanding of the importance of reporting staff non-compliance to the Care Manager.
- To learn to handle day-to-day telephone call from Service Users, Families, Team Leaders, Support Workers and Multi-Disciplinary teams (MDTs).
- To learn to support the Care Manager and the Operations team in taking new referrals, by setting up care packages for new Service Users.
- To undertake training to be able to deliver direct provision of care as required, but particularly in emergency situations (e.g., death of a Service User, taking over the rota from Support Worker).
- Once deemed competent, to participate in the on-call service, on a rota basis.
- Report all incidents, concerns and complaints to the Care Manager or the Registered Manager in their absence.
- To undertake any other duties assigned by the Care Manager from time to time. Such duties will be reasonable in relation to the post holder’s skills, abilities, and status.

**Experience and qualifications**:

- Good standard of formal education.
- A commitment to continued professional development.
- Organised and able to meet deadlines whilst adapting to continuously changing conditions.
- Good planning, analysis and implementation skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships.
- Computer literate.
- The ability to think on your feet and to possess a practical and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A results-orientated focus.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- A flexible and positive approach to a challenging workload.
- A current driving licence, use of own car with business insurance cover.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,475.00-£23,000.00 per year
