**Role**: The Finance and Admin Assistant role provides day to day administration, processing and bookkeeping support in order to maintain efficient running of the Finance Department.

**About You**

A high level of PC literacy is essential, including excellent word processing skills with a good working knowledge of databases and Excel. A flexible approach to work is essential.

Through maintaining financial systems, recording and processing financial information, data entry and general financial administration, the Finance and Admin Assistant will ensure effective financial management across Farplace.

**Tasks will include**
- Routine administrative tasks including inputting data onto our finance systems
- Digital filing of receipts and purchase invoices
- Ensuring authorisation and coding of invoices in line with our coding structure
- Recording and coding petty cash expenditure, and processing of staff expense forms
- Reconciling travel expenditure
- Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
- Attending internal budgeting meetings as required
- Undertaking other finance administrative tasks and general support to the Finance Manager as required
- Working for the benefit of the whole organisation
- Complying with Farplace policies including our vegan policy at work

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
