It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

**What you will be doing**:
You will undertake effective stakeholder management, interacting with colleagues, customers, suppliers and delivery partners to ensure Service Introduction activities are embedded into the IT Delivery lifecycle. May supervise others or make decisions which impact the work assigned to individuals or phases of projects. An **IT Transition Lead**:

- Co-ordinates an end to end Service Transition process, which includes, but not limited to, ensuring; new and changed IT Services have a fully developed operating model incorporating an agreed model of interaction with business users & IT support partners, relevant configuration of ITIL service support Processes, contract commercialisation with SLAs/KPIs, resources, support models, DR, business continuity and completion of knowledge transfer before going into the production landscape.
- Follows standard techniques to assess and scale and ultimately agree a tailored transition journey balancing the IT delivery outcomes and ensure the nature and impact of change delivery into operational support activities is controlled and agreed with no impact to existing IT Services.
- Managing the process to obtain formal confirmation that service acceptance criteria have been met by engaging with delivery teams to ensure correct products are produced in a timely fashion and transition artefacts meet agreed levels of service acceptance criteria.
- Coordinates inputs, outputs and deliverables throughout the Service Transition Lifecycle and promotes and monitors transition activity compliance to ensure outputs are fit for purpose and fit for use within operational services.

- Be familiar & competent in the exploitation of Service Management tooling, such as ServiceNow, and IT Event Management tools as part of transition into support.
- Have broad understanding of IT Service Management disciplines, Service Integration and associated toolsets
- Demonstrate the ability to build strong and effective work relationships within Service Management, across suppliers, users and throughout the organisation.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of making judgements as SME where precedent may not exist.
- ITIL certification desirable.
