**Job Purpose**
Working across multiple Schools and disciplines, you will provide a comprehensive range of professional services support to a number of key academic Centres within the College of Arts. The role holder will create and deliver a support provision that enhances the inter
- and multi-disciplinary areas across which the teaching and scholarly portfolio of these Centres reach.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
1. Working with key business partners across the College and University, you will implement best practice governance and administrative support for a portfolio of academic Centres in the College of Arts.
2. Working with relevant academic colleagues and business partners you will provide support for the development and growth of the Centres’ postgraduate taught (PGT) programmes, summer schools, MOOCs and micro credentials.
3. Provide effective administrative support for the Centres’ research, PGT programmes, their students and visiting academics as well as any research grant schemes or endowments managed within the Centres.
4. Working with appropriate colleagues, organise seminars, conferences and events and support their delivery.
5. Working with the College web team, develop and maintain Centres’ web-based resources ensuring content is relevant and up to date, enquiries are managed, and contact lists maintained.
6. You will be a strong ambassador for the academic focus of the Centres, supporting their knowledge exchange and outreach programmes, acting as the liaison between the Centre and internal stakeholders as well as between the Centre and external stakeholders.
7. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the appropriate Centre Head or Director of Professional Services.

F2 A good knowledge of University, College and School policies, regulations, guidelines and standard operating procedures relevant to the role.
F3 Administrative experience within HE.
F4 Experience of using student records or other customer enquiry management system.
**Other**
Initially, the role holder will focus on the current expansion of the Centre for Scottish and Celtic Studies (CSCS), and on support for the Centre for Robert Burns Studies (CRBS), but will, in due course, absorb additional Centres as identified and required.
