Festival Coordinator at Northern Aldborough Festival

**Key Skills and Attributes**

**Reporting to the Festival Director and the Festival Board, the role will entail**:
**General**
- Scheduling and minuting of 6-8 board meetings per year
- Book-keeping and day-to-day banking

**Festival Programme**
- Management of the Box Office and issue of tickets
- Issuing artist contracts and liaising with artists and their management
- With the Festival Director, co-ordinating and executing the festival schedule
- Booking of venues, accommodation, catering, signage, toilet facilities, hire instruments and audio-technical provision
- Liaising with stewards and volunteers
- Hiring of the Festival technical team
- Ensuring the Festival's compliance with legal and insurance requirements, including alcohol licensing and the production of risk assessments

**Friends/Sponsors**
- Organising Friends subscriptions and communicating with the Friends of the Festival
- Assisting the Friends Committee with the organisation of Friends events
- Organising concert-specific arrangements for Sponsors

**Marketing**
- Preparation and issue of the festival brochure and programme including the sale of advertising (the festival uses an external design house)
- Uploading of listings to and administration of the festival website
- Liaising with and providing PR assets (photographs, biographies etc.) to the PR team

**The position is an equivalent 0.2 consultancy post on a rolling annual contract starting 1 May 2024.**

**While the postholder will need to work in-office during May and June when the schedule is busiest, mainly remote working is possible outside these times.**

**In addition, attendance at Festival Trustee meetings is also required.**

**The salary is £12000 per annum (FTE £30,000).**

The successful applicant may be required to work alongside the outgoing Co-ordinator during the months of May and June.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
