Overview:
Harrow Council is looking for three Senior Practitioners.

The post-holder will be required to record actions and decisions in a clear and robust way on the Mosaic database in addition to undertaking some complex enquiries, liaising with both internal and external colleagues as appropriate.

About you:

- Extensive knowledge of the legislation/policies that relate to the Adults agenda.
- Significant experience in carrying out care management responsibilities in order to supervise, advise and guide less experienced staff.
- The ability to deputise for the Team Manager as appropriate.
- Experience of working “on duty” in any social work setting.
- Experience of presenting cases at meetings/panels.
- Ability to write reports to a standard sufficient for them to be presented at internal and external forums.
- Ability to present information about cases e.g. to a Adult Resource Panel or a Case Conference.
- Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
- Practice Educator / Best Interest Assessor or willing to train as a Practice Educator / Best Interest Assessor.
- Ability to work occasional unsocial hours.
