This role is an exciting role that sits within the new Contract Management Team within Health and Adult Services.

You will support the team to grow and develop robust approaches to Contract Management, working with a fantastic team, other service areas and the provider market to deliver better outcomes through contract management approaches. You will manage the contract management and monitoring activity in relation to providers on the Approved Providers List.

You will support the team to ensure that contracting and monitoring activity is undertaken in line with Council procedures and legislative requirements and the Directorate’s savings plans. You will work closely with the Procurement and Contract Management Service to ensure compliance with the Council’s Procurement & Contract Management Strategy, Procurement & Contract Procedure Rules, Financial Regulations and UK Legislation on contract management.

The team will also work closely with Health & Adult Services, Service Development and Quality and Service Continuity Teams, to ensure seamless processes for contracting and quality assurance are in place and are effective.

You will maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners including other Directorates, ICBs, CQC, voluntary sector providers, independent sector providers, etc.

Your work base will be County Hall, however you will be able to work flexibly from locations throughout North Yorkshire, as required, and can work from home, where appropriate
