**Contextual Outreach Coordinator**:
**Grade 5 (£25,742 - £29,605 p.a.) Depending on experience**

This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

The Contextual Outreach Team in Educational Engagement deliver sustained outreach programmes raising the aspirations and achievements of young people. Our two key programmes are the Thomas Transition Programme Plus (TTP+) for Pre 16 students and Reach for Excellence (RfE) for Post 16 students. We also work together on a number of regional and national outreach partnerships to widen access to higher education (Realising Opportunities, Brilliant Club, Linacre Institute).

You will provide administrative, planning and coordination support for recruitment to our Contextual Outreach programmes. This will include keeping and dealing with accurate and secure records, helping to organise events, visits and other outreach activities, communication with students, schools and other partners and arranging meetings and taking minutes. You will develop and deliver workshops and presentations to large groups of young people.

Working as part of a team supporting colleagues, you will also work autonomously and take responsibility for key aspects of work and make day to day decisions (with management support where required). You will have the skills associated with evaluation and tracking of students and schools, taking part in activities including excellent IT skills and experience of using databases.

You will be required to work school holidays and occasional evenings and weekends. Please note that there is a requirement to work on site regularly in this role.
