The post holder will be required to deliver high quality customer service, including communicating effectively with customers, stakeholders and third party contractors often on complex and what may develop to be contentious issues. This will involve dealing with both internal and external customers and will require analysis, investigation, payment calculations and reconciliation of information.

The role will require someone who can be flexible and adaptable in their working day as they carry out delivery of all the compliance objectives

We are the NHS delivering for the NHS.
1. The post holder will undertake the following duties and responsibilities with mínimal guidance.
2. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that they meet all deadlines set by the Compliance Team Manager, Head of Service and Pensions Board.
3. The post holder will ensure daily that all their work and time is logged and accounted within control logs that may be easily reported against and audited should the need arise.
4. The post holder will be responsible for providing management information in an accurate and timely manner to various parts of the business on a regular basis and on an ad-hoc basis should the need arise at the request of the business.
5. To undertake daily horizon sweeping and understand the impact of changes (draft and enacted) to NHS Pension Scheme regulations and over-riding pensions legislation.
6. The post holder must be able to undertake independent compliance reviews of all parts of NHS Pension Scheme administration for example (though not limited to) service delivery, payroll, technical and finance.
7. The post holder must be able to collate the outcome of independent compliance reviews into a compliance report for review by the compliance manager, which clearly sets out the outcome and findings of the reviews. Such reports should be issued in an accurate and timely manner.
8. The post holder must be able to make, collate and quantify recommendations for business improvement across all aspects of the compliance reviews.
9. The post holder must be able to correctly identify any areas,in which the business is none compliant, and collate and quantify those areas into time bound recommendations for rectification across all aspects of the compliance reviews.
10. To support compliance reviews the post holder will be faced with many different software packages. The post holder must be able to understand and interrogate, all varieties of different software use
