Street Works Administrator

We have a big year planned for growth and are looking for a number of Scheduling and Streetworks Administrators to join our successful Streetworks Team. If you have a passion for problem solving and taking ownership of your work, then this role would be ideal. Full training is provided.
**The Role**
Have you ever seen roadworks and wondered how they got there? Well, with our opportunity you will be arranging, scheduling and ensuring legislation is being followed to ensure when a team turns up to complete a job, they can do this in a safe, legal and timely manner. You will be the first point of contact for Gangs (Teams) on the road and they will call you for guidance. This role is varied, and no day is the same, some role responsibilities include:
- Checking Utility Prints to ensure it’s a safe area for the teams to work.
- Ensuring Streetworks legislation is followed to ensure no one is working illegally.
- Ensure Traffic Management requirements are in place.
- Communicate and escalate where needed and ensure that the correct information is both sent and received within required timescales.
- Job Build to ensure teams have full job and safety information on site.
- Liaising with both Clients and Local Authorities.
You will have full training in this role but having an excellent eye for detail, plus enjoy dealing with several responsibilities at one time would be an advantage. Some days can be challenging but when you find a resolution and there is a positive outcome it is incredibly rewarding. You must also ideally have:
- Experience supporting customers either over the telephone or face to face.
- Have some exposure to Microsoft Office, Excel or using a system.
- Passionate for problem solving and takes pride in their work.
