You are someone who thrives in a self-starting environment, taking ownership of your work without day-to-day guidance. You are versatile, and able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
With your strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, you are instrumental in consolidating and improving HR processes and systems and supporting their implementation as well as maintaining them once established.
You have demonstrable experience in managing all aspects of recruitment, including liaising with external agencies, crafting job descriptions, and formulating recruitment project plans. You have a strong track record supporting managers with each stage of the recruitment and selection process including offers, background and reference checks, contracts and induction stages.
It’s important that you have proven work experience in an HR assistant role and be able to demonstrate previous experience of supporting managers with first line enquiries and be comfortable they are abreast of employment legislation around the key operational matters such as absence management, performance management, flexible working, family friendly rights, discipline, capability, grievance, dignity at work, equalities matters.
You are well-versed in HR systems, with the ability to train others within our organisation. Additionally, you are part qualified in CIPD and have a commitment to continuous professional development.
