Procurement Administrator

£25k salary

Based - Richmond, Surrey TW9

Mon - Fri 9am - 5.30pm

**Role**:
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join the buying team and help manage our client's procurement needs. Your responsibilities will include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet legal requirement and our specifications and negotiation skills with vendors are imperative.

**Duties**:

- UK & International Purchasing admin
- Prepare proposals to Sales and Development teams
- Request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions with current and new suppliers.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
- Monitor supplier performance.
- Organise inspections and safety testing where required.
- Analise industry and demand trends and support management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar roll (minimum 2 years)
- Good working knowledge of purchasing and negotiation strategies.
- Understanding of local and global supply chains.
- Be adaptive to new tasks.
- Be able to work alone or as part of a team and plan, organise and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
