A private day nursery in Horley RH6 are looking to recruit a dedicated and Nursery Room Leader to assist in leading an enthusiastic and passionate team.

The nursery is easy to commute from Copthorne, Gatwick, Crawley and immediate surrounding areas.

**Responsibilities of an experienced Nursery Room Leader includes**:

- Working closely with the Nursery Manager to manage and organise the room.
- Ensure that all children attending the nursery are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
- Supporting the staff in the room
- Planning appropriately for children using the EYFS framework
- Maintaining accurate and effective children’s records
- Working in partnership with parents/carers
- Following and understanding safeguarding procedures and ensuring that children are kept safe

**In order to be considered for the experienced Nursery Room Leader position**:

- **Must be at least Level 3 qualified**:

- Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted
- An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families
- Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside,
- Managing and maintaining administration requirements
- Have a clear DBS, have 2 satisfactory references
