This role is ideal for those who love working with children, are committed to their development, and are enthusiastic about creating a joyful space that supports childrens growth and happiness.
In addition to your responsibilities within the breakfast and afterschool clubs, you will also assist with our daily walking bus service. Each morning, after breakfast club, you'll help safely walk children to their school. In the afternoon, you'll meet these children at school and walk them back to Limetree for afterschool club. Your role in the walking bus is crucial for ensuring each child's safety, maintaining a positive atmosphere, and providing a smooth, secure transition between school and club activities
Your training planThe programme offers a blended approach including virtual classrooms, webinars, work-based tasks and online assignments. We use an online platform (BUD) that helps you learn the topics and skills, reflect on your practice and build your portfolio. Candidates are not required to attend college, instead, this will include off the job training hours (OTJH) used throughout this apprenticeship. You will also receive one-to-one support and tuition from your apprenticeship tutor, this tutor will make in person visits to you at the nursery, or schedule online meetings every 5-6 weeks.

Work as a play work development officer for a local authority
