Commercial Sales Manager

**Main Responsibilities**
- Prepare sales and marketing budgets and report on monthly performance
- Set sales targets for each region and co-ordinate national sales objectives
- Reviewing supplier reviews for cost reduction and performance
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with key personnel, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Create and develop sales strategies to enhance business growth with the Sales & Marketing Team
- Determine and set goals and objectives for sales by customer and team members
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and activity targets
- Develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities and maximise opportunities
- Support Implementing Freight forwarding service to our customers
- Implement the procurement strategy by leading annual and long-term contract negotiations
- Support, lead and mentor sales personnel in achieving sales outcomes
- Identify, manage and motivate a team of high-calibre employees, managing reports behaviours and customer service levels
- Develop and monitor KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance
- Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled team
**Key Skills & Experience**
- Previous Sales Management experience in either Logistics, Carrier, Parcel, Pallet or Freight
- A Excellent understanding of sales and ethical sales practices
- Dedicated to coaching, developing & enhancing the Sales team
- Able to provide strategic direction & and implementation of key strategies
- Great negotiating skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Enthusiastic sales-focused attitude
- Customer-centric & Entrepreneurial mentality
**Additional Information**
- Hybrid Working - 3/4 days a week in the office working
- Hours - 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM or 9 AM - 6 PM
- Company Car, Fuel & On-site meals and many more benefits
- OTE 20% of annual salary, paid quarterly
