Support Worker

Overview:We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need. The role involves assisting with various aspects of personal care and daily living activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals requiring assistance
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and daily living activities
- Implement behaviour management strategies as required
- Deliver dementia care and support patients with specific needs
- Offer childcare services when necessary
- Administer first aid when needed
- Provide home care services to clients in their residences
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Assist in nursing home settings with patient care
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable
- Knowledge of dementia care, behaviour management, and childcare practices
- Possession of a valid First Aid certification
- Ability to provide patient-centred care with empathy and respect
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals and their families
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on the needs of the clients
- A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in various care settings
Pay: £12.50-£21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
