You take up this key role as a Coordinator within our Developer Services team. Our team oversee connecting new property developments to our water network. This includes small scale developments to the biggest residential, industrial or commercial expansion sites across our supply area. You’re self-motivated and highly organised to provide our developer customers the best guidance and information.

Our business is measured by Water UK and OFWAT on our response times and quality of service provided to property and land developer customers. You’ll project manage plans through to completion by ensuring legislative and regulatory requirements are thoroughly considered. You’ll prepare computer aided designs, project costs and give advice on all water legislation, regulatory or environmental requirements involved with creating new water supply infrastructure.

**What you’ll deliver**
- You’ll process incoming developer and highway enquiries for mains (self-lay and requisitions), diversions and services infrastructure.
- You’ll carry out investigation and site meeting with developer, highways authorities, environmental assessors and archaeologists to plan the most optimum route for new mains.
- You’ll prepare CAD designs.
- You’ll provide developers with designs and costs for new developments, services and diversions.
- You’ll provide developers with advice regarding requirements to water legislation, highways requirements, self-lay, Diversionary works, environmental impacts and water quality requirements.
- You’ll deal with telephone, written and face to face enquiries.
- You’ll update the departmental logging system and companies work management system.
- You’ll process payments for all sites, diversion and connections relating to schemes being managed by Developer Services.
- You’ll provide monthly reports on performance and finance accounts for sites being managed.
- You’ll recalculate the cost of schemes on completion for Mains requisitions, Diversions and services and to complete the relevant closure papers.
- You’ll prepare job packs and method statements for developer services schemes.
- You’ll work with Engineering and Assets to ensure that offsite reinforcement schemes are delivered in line with onsite developer schemes.
- You’ll maintain a view of all current work on the developer services logging system and to ensure that all work is covered in the event of holidays, sickness or any other absence.
- You’ll be able to attend relevant industry forums if required.

**What you bring to the role**
- You’ll have 5 GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent)
- You’ll have the ability to project manage developer services and highway schemes
- You’ll develop excellent knowledge of Developer Services including water legislative, regulatory and environmental requirements.
