As a Social Media Coordinator, you will work as part of our busy communications team, helping to develop, maintain and grow South East Water’s online communities, as well as feeding back insights internally to ensure digital campaigns remain strategically sound.

You are plugged into the latest trends and industry developments and can write attention-grabbing news stories and content that will help build our social media presence. With a keen eye for excellent social media campaigns and ideas, you will be responsible for content creation, focusing specifically on video production.

An advanced understanding of Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics and other social media analytics tools will come in handy, as you will be using these to improve our social media campaigns and sharing valuable insight with stakeholders.

As a strong communicator, you are able to share your social media knowledge with other members of staff and promote its use across the business effectively. You are comfortable liaising with different departments to seek out interesting stories and content to promote the company’s campaigns and drive engagement.

**What will you be accountable for?**
- Managing all company social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.), including traditional posts, ‘Stories’ and live posts
- Creating engaging, shareable content - including planning, drafting, shooting and editing videos.
- Liaising with the wider business to seek out stories/projects of interest.
- Co-ordinating paid social media; overseeing A/B testing, assigning budgets, messaging and implementation.
- Developing and managing the company’s water efficiency campaign, which will have our award-winning behavioural science and customer segmentation research at its core.
- Leading on design and development of social campaigns
- Monitoring and reporting on performance of social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and native social advertising tools and providing regular insights to drive optimisation.
- Working independently and with external creative teams to create content in line with digital and social best practice, especially graphics and infographics.
- Assist the digital team in responding to customer queries in a timely manner.

**What do you bring to the role?**
- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience.
- A solid understanding of social media trends, insights and content creation.
- Tech-savvy with an advanced understanding of social media analytics tools.
- A proactive and keen attitude, ready to learn.
- Great communication skills and able to work effectively in a team and alone.
- Knowledge of the water industry is preferred but not essential.
