Purchasing Administrator - 6 month contract to assist busy Raw Materials Purchasing Team.

Flexible, pragmatic and deadline focused. A high level of IT skills especially EXCEL is essential to the Position.
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 is desirable.

Day to day duties will involve
- Timely investigation and resolution of supplier complaints, and trend analysis.- Business System updates, including;
- Vendor set-up/modification
- Trade Agreement management
- Item set up
- ISO certificate upload/maintenance
- Work with Supply Chain to resolve any purchase order processing issues.
- Work with Accounts Payable to ensure prompt resolution of supplier invoice price queries.
- Take responsibility for ensuring accurate and timely updates of raw material prices for the quarterly Standard Cost updates
- Risk Management;
- Issue quarterly templates to suppliers to confirm latest position
- Update the risk matrix based on responses received
- Manage the document and ensure it is updated on a regular basis.
- Liaise with raw material suppliers to agree to Audit scheduling according to the agreed annual audit programme.
- Collate and monitor forecast demand of raw materials, and issue to suppliers.
- Data gathering and analysis as appropriate for:
- Tenders/RFQ’s
- Business Team meetings
- S&OP meetings
- Supplier meetings/negotiations
- Compliance screening of vendors
- Provide support to the UK Raw Materials Purchasing Team as required.
